Welcome to Briellez Events. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website (https://briellezevents.com) and the event planning, catering, and rental services we provide. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or our services.
1. Who we are
Briellez Events is a Nigerian event management company operating from 10 Oroazi Road, King David Event Centre, Opp. Ebony Hospital, off Rumuola Road, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. We provide end-to-end event planning, professional catering, and premium event rentals for weddings, birthdays, and private or corporate functions.
2. Quotes and pricing
- All prices displayed on this website are "starting from" anchors shown in Nigerian Naira (₦) and are indicative only.
- Final pricing depends on factors including guest count, scope, production level, date, and location, and will be set out in a written quote or event agreement.
- A quote is only binding once confirmed in writing by both parties and remains valid for the period stated on the quote.
3. Bookings
- Submitting a booking request through this website is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking. We will review your request and contact you, typically within 24–48 hours.
- A booking is confirmed only when we issue a written confirmation and any required deposit has been received.
- You will receive a booking reference (e.g. BRZ-XXXXXX) which you can use with your email address to track your booking status on our website.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide; inaccurate details may affect planning timelines and pricing.
4. Payments, deposits, and cancellations
- Deposit amounts, payment schedules, and accepted payment methods will be set out in your event agreement or invoice.
- Cancellation and rescheduling terms, including any applicable fees or non-refundable portions, are specified in your event agreement. As a general rule, costs we have already incurred or committed to third-party vendors on your behalf are non-refundable.
- We reserve the right to treat a booking as cancelled if agreed payments are not received by their due dates after reasonable notice.
5. Client responsibilities
- Provide timely information, approvals, and access reasonably required for us to plan and deliver your event.
- Obtain any permissions required for your chosen venue where the venue is not contracted through us.
- Ensure guests treat rented equipment and venues with reasonable care. Loss of or damage to rental items beyond fair wear and tear may be charged as set out in your rental agreement.
6. Third-party vendors
Some elements of an event (for example photography, entertainment, or specialty vendors) may be supplied by independent third parties. Where we engage them on your behalf we do so with reasonable care in selection and coordination, but those vendors remain responsible for their own performance under their own terms.
7. Photography and portfolio use
We may photograph or record events we produce for quality and portfolio purposes. Where we wish to feature images from your private event in our public portfolio or social media, we will seek your consent first. You may withdraw consent for future use at any time by contacting us.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — belongs to Briellez Events or its licensors and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our prior written permission.
9. Liability
We deliver our services with professional skill and care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from or in connection with a booking is limited to the amount you have paid to us for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Nigerian law.
10. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, government restrictions, civil unrest, or utility failures. Where such an event affects your booking we will work with you in good faith to reschedule or adjust the scope.
11. Website use
You agree not to misuse this website, including attempting to gain unauthorised access, submitting false bookings, or interfering with its operation. We may suspend access to protect the website and other users.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts. We will always attempt to resolve concerns amicably first — please talk to us.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you engage our services applies to your booking, except where a signed event agreement states otherwise.
